    • Catherine Pappas Kostakos and Bertha Pappas Pouletsos said she was tall and heavy-set and he was short; they called them "Mutt and Jeff." They called her "Thea [aunt] Kolokota."

She came from Lowell, Massachusetts where her family was from. Catherine doesn't know how the match was arranged. After they married, they raised her sister's (that lived in Lowell, MA) daughter, Georgia, when they lived in Brooklyn and they got her married. Her sister had a very large family, and they were a nice looking family.
